Gilson Plano (Goiânia, GO, 1988) lives and works between Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Goiânia (GO). As a visual artist, he develops his works across multiple interfaces, including sculpture, imagery and text, delving into structures, fictions, and enchantments related to the imaginaries of ideas and their histories. Concepts such as weight, lightness, and disappearance guide his productions. Gilson is a PhD student in Arts at UERJ and participated in the training program at The School of Visual Arts – EAV Parque Lage (2019) and Pivô Arte e Pesquisa (2021#3). His work has been featured in both group and solo exhibitions.
