The workshop “Traces of the Imponderable: Ways of Seeing, Listening, and Tensioning,” held by Descompasso Magazine at the invitation of Corpo Crítico, proposes an immersion into zones of openness and fissure. Guided by texts by Jean-Claude Bernardet, Rogério Sganzerla, Roland Barthes, Edwin Frank, Nicole Brenez, and others, the workshop invents writing exercises as practices of detour: ways of disarticulating the automatic gesture of criticism, of rejecting immediate evidence, of pursuing traces, noises, and margins. It is less the interpretation of the work as a whole that is of interest, but rather what spills out of it — fragments hinted at as enigmas, folds that disrupt the order, signals that vibrate to other places.
