An essay film that revisits materials from fiction films made by, and about, women between the 1970s and 1980s, in different contexts. By navigating through the archives and fragments of this open-ended history, in which feminist and lesbian commitments are affirmed without softening their contradictions, this film-research is guided by the discoveries of its affective journey, in order to question us about the potentialities of desire and the politics of the gaze in cinema.
