He is a Master’s student in Social Communication at PPGCOM-UFMG, where he researches LGBT+ auteur cinema. He is an executive producer, actor, screenwriter, and film director. A specialist in public management, he was responsible for the management and programming of Cine Humberto Mauro (2009–2017) and served as Cinema Manager (2017–2022) and Cultural Director (2022–2024) of Fundação Clóvis Salgado. He has been a member of the Belo Horizonte International Short Film Festival for 16 years.
