The Clóvis Salgado Foundation (FCS) and the Pro-Cultura e Promoção das Artes Association (Appa), through Cine Humberto Mauro, are now accepting applications for the 28th FestCurtasBH – Belo Horizonte International Short Film Festival, one of the most important events for the dissemination and promotion of the worldwide production of short films in Brazil. Directors with short films completed in 2025 or 2026 can apply, free of charge, starting 02/04/2026.

Films up to 45 minutes long, of all genres – except advertising and institutional films – completed in analog (35mm and 16mm) and/or digital (DCP 2K and 4K, DCP 3D, among others) formats will be accepted.
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Shortfilmdepot online platform or through the form available on the festival website. The subscription deadline is until 17th May 2025.
